    Added water to (Original) battery

After 3+ years, the original (so-called "maintenance free") battery is still going strong, but I had to add about 25mL of distilled water into each of the 6 ports!

I wondered about this, anyone have instructions? I was at walmart and they said it was bad, giving only 225CCA vs 500+ CCA specs.
It seems to start the car just fine so I questioned it.

Stock battery is under 400cca iirc. Might say in the manual. Same with spark plugs and stuff.
I don't know where you're at but if you were here your car probably wouldn't be starting if it's not plugged in with a battery as weak as yours

U.S. Owners manual states - 55D23L (356CCA/99RC), which is pretty weak to begin with. Most Group 35 batteries you would use to replace this battery would be in the 490 to 720 CCA range.

It is a small engine with very lightweight 0W-20 oil, which makes it easier to turn over. Trickle charger or a low amp battery charger left on overnight when it's extremely cold may help.

It's Monday evening & school is already called off for Tuesday & Wednesday in my area for cold weather.

Ya, I wondered about the test. It started the other morning and it was -7F outside.

    Interesting. That's pretty cold.

I understand wanting to protect your privacy, but knowing your geographical location sometimes helps others here on the forum when trying to ask for help diagnosing problems. Perhaps you should consider changing your forum location from 'Earth' to something more accurate.

Yeah individual posts are easily forgotten. It's better to simply include this in your forum profile. At least that's what it's there for.

No big deal. It's your call - whatever you're comfort level allows.
