    6. What type of ignition system does your car run- is there a distributor? Coil pack? Coil on Plug?

Here is a pic from the 3A92 FSM showing a single coil (#10) atop a single plug (#11)

I have combed the FSM and elsewhere, i have not been able to locate any instance where a 3A92 engine has a "pack" or "bank" of injectors lined up on a single array/housing. Is it safe to say we have a coil-on-plug setup?

    Yes it's coil on plug

After i showed the pics of the camshaft pickup wheel, here is the response from the Haltech rep "That is the camshaft pickup, unfortunately, it is not a pattern that is supported. If it was to be considered for support, we would need an oscilloscope trace of the crank and cam sensors along with ignition 1 output from the factory ecu. You would use an oscilloscope connected and recording crank sensor, cam sensor, and ignition 1 while the engine is cranking or running on a factory ecu. We would then have the necessary information to possibly add that crank and cam pattern into the Elite ECU".

That is unfortunate. I certainly do not own an oscilloscope, no idea who might have one and can get us this specific information. May be at a dead end with Haltech.

You cannot use bank injection on an odd number engine.

Sequential is pretty much the only option

Imo they are definitely VR but the fsm displays oppositse.

If you know how to usea multi meter i can explain how to check the iac. I've not looked at that at all

Yes, sequential seems the choice. Also, i thought VR was what it seemed to be after reading the DIYAtoTune writeup posted earlier. I may have one, ill check. What is an IAC anyway?

That valve depressurizes the fuel tank and sends the fumes into your engine instead of the atmosphere.

The iac is almost certainly inside of the throttle body
