Not bad, could be better. I am guessing with no 2016 model that the Mirages on lots are getting thin

I love everything about Mitsubishi!!!!
I wonder how many new cars they can stick on one ship? How many shiploads to get to the 41k in US sales? I would imagine several thousand on one ship?

That is not bad at all for a car that does not have a 2016 model and one that was only expected to sell 7000 a year. A lot of people wait for the new models to come out. I think that once the 2017's are on the lots that they will sell pretty briskly. Especially with a sedan model to choose from.

That depends on the ship!
If you know the name of the ship, you might be able to learn more about it here: www.world-ships.com
There's some pretty big ships out there.

Yeah I read about 8500 on one ship, but that could probably be 10k Mirages, LOL. Say 5 ships for 41k cars.

125 Mirages sold in Canada last month. Not great. GM almost sold as many Sparks which has never happened before (117), and of course the Micra took the top spot (707).
Since the 2016 Spark has joined the $10k MSRP cheap car price war in Canada, I expect it will start outselling the Mirage also, simply because GM has more money for marketing. Thread: GM fights back: $9995 2016 Chevrolet Spark Canada's cheapest new car
But the current insane $3500 factory discount on both the US and Canadian Mirages should goose the numbers this month. Gotta clear 'em out to make room for the revised model & the sedan.

I updated the sales tables in post #1.

WoW!
I'm so excited to learn how many Mirages sold in March 2016 with the new $3500 rebate.
I have only seen 2 Mirages in my city ever since I bought one of my own last week.

4,113 Mirages sold last month! Yay for huge rebates haha. The Mirage outsold all the other Mitsu models by a good amount.
Apparently this was also Mitsu's best month since 2007.

That's hilarious!
We knew it was going to be a banner month just based on the number of new members who joined the forum in March, which was a record by far.
I made this plot of US sales vs. new forum members:
New members track US sales surprisingly closely, not counting the first part of 2015 -- I bet that spike is from fleet sales.
It's not a perfect comparison, though -- it doesn't separate new US members from all new members. However, the US is the fastest growing country on the forum.

451 Mirages sold last month. That's its 5th best month, and a big increase vs. Jan/Feb (118/125)
Why wasn't it a blockbuster month like in the U.S.? The $3500 rebate in Canada only (officially) applied to the base model trim vs. on all trims for the States.
Overall, though, a best month ever for the Canadian division:
http://www.mitsubishi-motors-pr.ca/c...ch-sales-up-24The March result was Mitsubishi Motors’ best retail sales month since it launched operations in Canada in 2002, and is consistent with growth forecasts that will be further bolstered with two upcoming new products
