I had the alignment checked and adjusted today.

Here are the numbers. I had them adjust the front into spec.

I'm only getting it on this forum (on this thread) - it's obviously bogus - just wondering where it's coming from.

If you go by the specs in the factory service manual (FSM) every single alignment spec for your front suspension would be red, aside from toe.

On page 33-7 of the FSM are the factory specs, and the only thing listed as user-adjustable is toe. It specifically excludes camber and caster as being adjustable.

I find this odd, and incorrect... But what do i know

All that being said i dont think i would bother with further work unless you are actually having issues. Quick Tire wear isn't an issue unless it's uneven.

when i go incognito on this site i don't get the trojan worm warning.

i kind of felt that i wasted $76 at VIP today, but how can you question their numbers? do they report real numbers? i didn't notice any difference in handling afterwards.

i'm not going to pursue this further with the dealer - they will just laugh at me - i'm going to buy cheap tires going forward

No...You just spent a little money to save yourself unnecessary tire wear down the road. Unless you drive the car like a madman, nobody should be going through a set of tires in 16,000 miles...especially if they're inflated properly, rotated regularly and wheels aligned properly. I have 35,000 miles on the same set of tires (not Enasaves) and I'm betting on them lasting close to 100,000 miles. That would be 6 set of tires for you?!?

Toe is what really destroys your tires. Your front toe was way out on both sides...almost like both of your front tires were turning to the right. Normally it's the rear axle that's the issue. Your rear axle is just barely within spec. I wouldn't worry about that. Be happy your front has been corrected and you know your rear isn't a nightmare.

Your front end has probably been mis-aligned from the day it rolled off the assembly line (like mine was). That's why we're constantly reminding Mirage owners to get their alignment checked...even if your car is new.

edit - And I've never seen that trojan warning.

I've had that problem loading pages on this website on about three occasions, only on my laptop at home. I used my Windows Task Manager program to force my browser program closed (using the end task function), which makes the hijack attempt go away.

Pretty annoying. And I'm pretty sure it's only happened on this website.
