    Confirmation: 13s Don't Fit on a 2017

Just some confirmation and a heads up: 13" wheels do NOT fit on a 2017 Mirage ES. I found a great deal on some crazy cool 13" vintage steel wheels wrapped in near-new 175/70/13 Hankook snow tires. However, I found out the hard way yesterday that the wheels won't clear the calipers.

I did find one thread on here that stated 13" Honda Civic VX wheels won't fit on a 2017 (larger brakes), but just a confirmation that 13" steelies also won't fit.

Anyone in the PNW looking for some snow tires?

    Thanks for sharing

I appreciate you sharing your experience with 13" wheel. 175/70r13 would have been a size that I would have considered, because of the number of good tire options. I wouldn't mind more rubber between the road and rims, too. I've seen 13" wheels listed for the 2014-15 Mirages, but not the 2017. I suspected the enlarged brakes on the newer models may be a problem, & your post confirms that. There doesn't seem to be that much extra clearance with the stock 14" wheels. Thus, I am not surprised. Thanks!
