    New Mirages for sale by other brand dealerships

    I've noticed a number of Mirages being sold by dealerships other than Mitsubishi.

    Mine, in fact, was a new car with 157 kms on it sold by a dealer of other brand Japanese cars.

    Here's another example I found,

    It's obviously a new car with 18 kilometers, how this off-brand dealer got it to sell IDK.

    I really doubt somebody bought it and after 18 kilometers decided it wasn't the car for them and traded it;

    Here's another one, this time at an Acura dealer, it has 50 kilometers on it.

    Interesting. Both advertise the cars as used. What do you suppose that means?

    Wonder if those are storm damage cars picked up at auction? Maybe the Mitsubishi dealer didn't want to fix them. It's just a guess, but anyway really strange...

    I ran the carfax thing on my car and it came back clean, no insurance claims or anything and I've had the carpets out to look for water damage and everything seems fine so it's just a guess but these cars are probably not insurance or salvage vehicles.

    I've seen a half dozen of these deals this past summer and fall.

    It's very weird. I'll update the thread as I find more Mitsus.
