What do you mean don't mix them? What about when you rotate your tires? I'm confused

You know...that's a great point. It is expensive and time consuming for a shop to dismount/rebalance tires...although with the Mirage, they may have been able to un-clip the sensor without completely dismounting the tire from your allow wheels. But it's still surprising they wouldn't mention anything about it.

I forgot that TPMS is not mandatory in Canada like it is in the US. Now I can't remember for certain if Canadian Mirages even have TPMS sensors?

I think you can rotate them but don't use one snow wheel on the car with the alloys mounted or vice versa. The computer will see two sensors that are the same ID and freak out.

I now have a funny feeling we're going to end this topic with the discovery that Canadian Mirages, even '17s, don't have TMPS.

    It would make life easier.

OK...I remember Fummins mentioning that the fleet of Canadian Mirages he maintains does not have TPMS. So I guess there's your answer!

Fummins post about No TPMS in Canadian Mirages

    This pretty much covers it.

    Lol.

I can mix and match now without worry. Also means my alloys are GTG as the tires were never removed from the wheels.
