is there anyone driven their mirage from socal to las vegas?

just want to know if the car can handle it. still thinking of driving it going there or renting another car. car is lowered with rsr lowering springs front and back. strut bars installed front and rear. rear wheel rubs onced in a while when theres 1 passenger at the back on uneven roads or bumps. planning to go there with 3 or 4 people inside the car including the driver. still hoping that my kyb rear shocks will arrive before the day i plan to go there.

Last summer I drove my Mirage from Portland to LA to Death Valley to Las Vegas to Grand Canyon to Moab to Arches National Park to Pikes Peak to Devils Tower Wyoming, to Mt. Rushmore, to Milwaukee Wisconsin, back through Minnesota and North Dakota, to Glacier National Park in northern Montana, to Seattle and back to Portland.

It was fun and yes you can make it.

I present the award for longest, most epic sentence of the month to Alex1a1f for outstanding verbal imagery.

The car probably won't make it. You should probably just donate it to me instead.

Can't comment on whether the modded suspension rubbing will drive you crazy, but...

Lots of people have done big trips with these cars:

Thread: Done any long trips in your Mirage yet? Comfortable? Good fuel economy?

I've done SJ to Anaheim/OC a bunch of times. I do 80mph most of the way and get about 37mpg. I'm usually in the mid/high 40s MPG doing 60mph on the freeway.

We've driven our Mirage from Colorado Springs to the Grand Canyon and back, and then from Colorado Springs to Orange County, California. It did just fine.
