Im not a Mirage... Thanks for the add.

Im new to the Mirage family. Trying to get educated on what parts are available. I wish I didn't live in the U.S. limited parts selection. Quick question I'm looking for a roof rack under 100.00 any suggestions off of Amazon or any other site. Thank you for your time Brian

    Welcome to the forum!

Did you get your 2015 used?

If you don't get the info you're hoping for on your roof rack question, try a dedicated thread with the question in the title.

Hello Mpgmirage15 and welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure what goals you are trying to achieve with a roof rack. If you are interested in more cargo-carrying capacity you might want to consider using a hitch-mounted cargo rack. I suggest this because a roof rack contradicts your signature line:

"Better MPG saves the environment and me money!"

I like that statement, and those sentiments apply to many forum members here. However, roof racks are known for adding aerodynamic drag and increasing fuel consumption. A hitch-mounted carrier does not have the same impact on aerodynamics, is easier to reach because it sits lower rather than on top of the car, and it's super easy to put on and take off.

All that said, there are many roof rack users here that will post their reasons for using roof racks. I look forward to hearing of the benefits of using roof racks - because I don't see the benefits myself.

Back in the day I decorated my Jeep Cherokee for Christmas by wrapping it's roof rack with some plastic Christmas garland. It was quite festive, but it wound up significantly scratching the paint.

This could be a fun discussion.

So, tell us how you decided on a Mirage. Show off your new ride with some pictures. Let us know any other modifications you have an interest in and we can show you what's been done along those lines for inspiration.

New wheels are a common modification. Which brings up a point. Some Mirages have problems with rear wheel alignment. Save yourself some headache and get yours checked.

There's lots of friendly folks here willing to help you make the most of your Mirage. Let us know if you have any questions.

And by the way - nice first post.

    Welcome.
