I would have assumed all rental vehicles were no-smoking zones these days. Or maybe they're just supposed to be.
The last three rental cars that were given to me as courtesy cars reek like cigarette smoke and had no smoking stickers all over them. Even when one of them was a dealer demo car that a Salesman had been using personally.

Congratulations. Any questions on your new car? Consider getting your alignment checked.

The sticker price for my 14 DE was $11,695 before options, after the options (some of which I wasn't told about) $16,665.19. The final price for my vehicle after you add up the annual percentage rate the final price came to $21,292.49 and I currently owe around $17,000. My vehicle wasn't purchased at a Mitsu dealer, but at a dealer called DriveTime. The people were great, but I got a lot of things I never asked for and I was never told I still had the factory warrant.

I understand some dealers like to put in those hidden fees and high interest rates as part of their business model. JD Byrider comes to mind.

PS: Here's some Wikipedia entries for these two dealers:

    J.D. Byrider
    DriveTime

Both companies aim to sell vehicles to customers with credit problems. It's my understanding that in order to take on the risk of someone not making payments on their purchase, they charge high interest rates and throw in those charges & fees to prop up their business model.

Wow, I am sure you got a lot of warranty or insurance when you sign the paper, a lot of those can be cancel like service contract, gap, tire insurance etc... Those are just pure profit for the selling dealer.

What are your monthly payments for your Mirage?

Did you buy or lease? And if it's not too personal to ask, what was your credit score at the time of application?

I'd like to get a range of numbers so i can know what sort of monthly payment to expect on a Mirage. Please also include year and trim level.
