just saw on the Mitsu HP that they have reduced the cash rebate to USD 750,- for the 2015 Mirage.
Seems they don't need that many incentives anymore...

Was the 2014 rebate always $1000 or did it start lower?

A look at Mitsu web site shows $750 for 2015 Mirage and $1,000 for 2014 Mirage. Rebates come and go; look at period of rebate on the web site

Quite sure it was always a $1,000 for the '14 .
Hey, I am wondering about this military rebate myself. My sales guy is telling me that I will get the $500 rebate for military personnel but you only get the discount if you are RETIRED military or ACTIVE? Army veterans like myself that just did their time and got out after their 3-4 year stint don't get it ? thanks Mike
When I purchased my Mirage, I did get the $500 military rebate. I am retired Army. To show proof of retirement I had to give copy of my latest military retirement statement (called the Retiree Account Statement) and show my retired photo ID card. Copies were made of both documents presumably to send to Mitsubishi Corporate Headquarters. Rebate was applied on the spot at purchase time.

ironhead,
First off, thank you for your military service.
I just purchased my 2014 Mirage 3 weeks ago and was given the bad news at the dealership.... I was not eligible for the military rebate. The $500 military rebate DOES NOT include veterans. I read the language right off a print out from Mitsubishi of America (provided to me by the dealer).
You should simply request a $500 lower price based upon your military service. If they truly honor your veteran status, they will accommodate you....regardless of rebates. Otherwise, you are "just another customer" and your service means NOTHING.
Good luck with your purchase!

I just picked my 2014 Mirage up today! Mirage SE with automatic climate control, heated seats, and a 5 speed transmission for $18,7 off the lot So happy with it. I was averaging about 5.3L/100km, and when I checked again pulling in the driveway it was 4.9. Haven't been able to play with it much as the weather sucks, but I'll be sure to post pics when I can.
