    Sort of a freak accident.

I had it parked a block from my place on the street. An Uber driver had a heart attack with two passengers in the car, floored it and ran directly into my car pushing it about 5 meters forward, into a BMW (that suffered some real damage) and onto the sidewalk. Passengers were fine but poor driver didn't make it : /

Insurance gave me ~$10k with 16,000 miles and good condition.

Can't wait to pick it up!
Congratulations on your new 2017 SE. I just got a 2017 SE too and it's a great car. And I'm also glad to see that you bought another Mirage.

    Recent new car purchase

This is my first post. I purchased a brand new 2017 Mirage ES (manual) with added armrest & bluetooth for $9299 on October 21, 2017. The "out the door" price (tax, registration, & new Wisconsin plates) was $10,153.70. This price included a free delivery of the car to my home from a dealership in Minnesota over 200 miles away. I sat in both 2018 ES & SE models (to compare difference in adjustable seats), and test drove the 2018 ES model at a local dealership before making this purchase. They were not interested in finding me a 2017 model with a manual transmission. Thus, I found a wonderful dealership that was able to help me out. They even found one in my first color preference (Mercury Gray). We did the paperwork for the new car on my kitchen table.

This purchase price did include $500 in bonus cash for financing with Mitsubishi. Even my local credit union suggested that I take the bonus cash. I can alway refinance with my local credit in 3 month. Even though I did not qualify for the military or previous Mitsubishi owner discounts, I felt like I got a good deal.

I am very happy with Mirage!

Mark, that was a great deal. Just fabulous. I wish I could have gotten such a deal, but I'm happy with my Mirage nonetheless.

Did you have a trade in?

    no trade

I didn't have a trade in on my Mirage deal, & it simplified things. In all honesty, I purchased my Mirage from a dealership that I have never been to ever. I talked directly to the general sale manager. The free delivery of the vehicle to my home sealed the deal for me. If I had a trade, this deal would have never happened this way.

Mark, now is a good time to add your new Mirage to the forum garage.

    Garage empty: add car

    Congrats
