officieel press release or statement regarding start problems?

does anyone have any link to a officeel statement

i mean there are already a few online on youtube and on forums
geuss more then that so wy no officiel statement yet?
how are they going to handle it! i would like to read this somewhere

what if this problem happens after 10.000 starts and that is like 1 year of normal use

but you drive only 1 x a time a week so you get 3000 every year

then after 4 years you get this start problem and your warranty is like 3 years.......

to som some of the online videos up

I haven't seen any Mitsu statement on this. But it's not a safety issue, so they don't have to make a public announcement. I imagine they're just dealing with it under their normal warranty process.

ok so only safety needs to be published.. ok

and any press on this would maybe hurt sales so they keep it shut.

i would like it if they just say OK we have this problem but we will recall every car made from 2012-xx-xx to 2013-xx-xx and fix it free of cost and models after that date do no longer have this problem.

This has been my experience. My dealers service centre knew about the problem. The problem started for me at around 1000km. They are going to replace the fly wheel and starter motor under warranty.
    Cheers,

I do notice that at sometimes it makes a weird starting sound. Really unlike usual start. OMG I really love my Galant that ALWAYS works without any problems and no complicated computer and sensors, my Galant don't even have ABS which one less sensor to worry about breaking down.
