    Tires

    I would like to upgrade the tires on my 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage DE. Is anyone here familiar with Toyo Tires' Proxes A18? Any other recommendations?

    [QUOTE=moodtony;70352 Any other recommendations?[/QUOTE]

    If you are looking for the standard 165/65R14 size tires, I've noticed a few good options at the two following websites. I've only had my Mirage for about 5 months. I did buy a pair of steel rims from the third website, & I bought a pair of snow tires from the second website. I was happy with both purchases. The steel rims fit perfectly, and they are one inch wider than the factory. The factory wheel covers also popped right in them, too.

    May not be sharing anything you don't already know. Good luck with your search & future purchase!

    I just purchased 2 Federals S657's earlier this month from Simpletire using that one day 20% discount 03/09/18 on Ebay. $40.76 each with free shipping! They shipped quickly and no issues whatsoever.

    If you are in the market for 165/65R14 tires, simpletires.com seems like a good place to start. They'll notify you of a sale going on, too.

    That's a great deal for the Federals. Have you used Federals before?

    Yes, I replaced the front tires at about 35k miles. I'm at 46k right now and it's time to replace the rears. It didn't seem to really affect my mileage much (check my fuel economy log). I've used these Federal S657's on other vehicles and never had a issue with them.
