    The Nissan Frontier has a pretty small bed and my brother tows a decent size trailer. But now he was a truck camper. Its kinda slightly off the bed but it works.

    It's funny how its the complete opposite in Australia, American sized pickups is the untapped market over here but our dual cab utes are starting to grow to that size but only in plastic fenders and widebody wheel arches, we don't get the towing capacity or bed length along with the growth in size.

    The Volkswagon Amarok is a pickup that would do well in the American market I reckon, pretty large for that style of ute here but would be much smaller than its American competition.
