They're driving a left-hand drive car...on a different side of the road than they are used to...in an unfamiliar area...while trying to follow verbal GPS instructions telling them to make a u-turn.
Here are a few quotes from a story in the UK press. Sounds like it's a tough intersection to navigate even for those familiar with it...
