    $4 oil filters on Amazon

    $4 Mirage oil filter

Saw this Magneti Marelli by Mopar 1AMFL00003 Engine Oil Filter on Amazon for $4.05 shipped.

Do you think quality is okay? One reviewer compared it to Mobil1 Extended Performance filter. Took a photo of both filters side by side saying it looks identical.

External dimensions don't really tell how well it filters particles of a given size. Do they advertise the filter's performance specifications?

Obviously intended for 'Fiatslers', not Mitsubishis. But I am sure they are fine.

Here is a case of 10 OEM Mitsubishi filters for $5.80 each. Then you don't have to wonder.

The filter is here. i think it looks pretty decent. Should be fine for 7500 miles

Based on these photographs do you think it may be a rebranded Mobil1 Extended Performance filter? If so it is a great bargain because the Mobil1 is over $10

Trying to save a penny again? lol
The part number seems to cross reference with the mitsubishi mz690072 that I use. Any filter would be better than not changing your oil. http://www.oilfilter-crossreference....ell/1AMFL00003

Amazon sucks when it comes to fitment.

    +1

Whether it's wheels or windshield wipers, you'd better use a second source for verifying compatibility if you are trying to use Amazon to figure out what will/won't work on your car.
