$5 for lifetime supply of Window Cleaner

    https://www.homedepot.com/p/Unger-32...0400/203177347

This concentrate makes 25 gallons of window cleaner to use as a Windex or as windshield washer fluid.

They sell it at your local Home Depot

    Freezing point?

Apparently, my Mirage came with water downed washer fluid when I purchased it last fall. Having it freeze up and then having to wait for it to thaw out again was a pain. Once it thawed, I pumped the remaining washer fluid all out & replaced it with something rated for colder temperatures. After that experience, I wouldn't just add anything to any vehicle without knowing/testing it first.

I'm for saving a buck, but I would want to know it's freezing point first. I tend to use way more washer fluid during the winter months, too. If you live in a warmer climate, this may not be an issue.

Just something to think about before before filling your car up without an unknown solution. I've been buying ammonia and making my own cleaning solution for home and school for decades.

That's pretty clever fc321. Have you used it in your Mirage?

As Mark says, unless I know it won't freeze down to -20℉ I'll have to pass.

Yeah the stuff that comes in the car when new is terrible. Not sure why they'd put that stuff in the cars sold where it freezes. Save a penny I guess.

Its working fine for me in Florida but the weather never goes under 65 F over here (18 C)

Today was sweltering heat for us in Florida, 95 F . The humidity is hard to handle, its a "wet heat" basically the exact opposite of Las Vegas.

Its a very good Window Cleaner 94% positive reviews

I think ill try adding some of that to the cheap summer stuff and see if it makes a difference in cleaning power.
Gotta run to HD see if it's here though..

Let me just mention it is a very bad idea to use tap water plus a dash of dish-washing liquid!
Thats because these days the stuff is bio-degradable, and the mix will decomposed by bacteria as it sits in the container. The result is a gooey mess clogging things up, a real pain you dont want.

Nice, we only get 3 months of summer if we're lucky.

Oh. Look I can get it in Canada and it's only DOUBLE THE PRICE!
No wonder the US big box stores love it here.
