Well I'm able to find steelies and some rims that aren't ugly, but the colors don't go well with my blue car.

I was aiming more at finding rims locally in Washington, sorry if I didn't clarify that.
Hey, if you are ever looking to unload your stock steelies let me know. I need a set of snow rims.

Thanks Gunlak, but have checked with Concept One in Philippines they said that 17x7 +45 offset and 205/40/r17 will fit just fine without rubbing issues in front but will have in the rear when fully loaded and road bumps.

But if based on experience let me know and what are the specs of your wheels so that I can check with the offsets and options available.

I'm setting my mirage up back there when I get home by January.

Would love to see some pics with the 17's on the car.

Honestly better suspension will be needed with 17"s. On another note I have the 14", 185 on my snow tires and I noticed that my rally mudflaps started to make a ton of scraping sounds. The room in the wheel arches are very minimal for this car.

guys dont know where to post this but, what should be my tire pressure if im gonna be on a long trip? do i still follow what on the sticker shows. coz for the GLS here our hatch comes with 15"s and tire pressure indicates 32psi. so if ill be on a long trip should it stay the same or its ok to inflate it to 34? or more?

Your tires might be labeled with their maximum inflation pressure. I wouldn't exceed that.

The sticker pressure is a compromise between a number of things including:

    1) handling
    2) fuel economy
    3) tire life / wear
    4) ride comfort
and probably more I can't think of right now.

I personally run my tires close to the max listed on the tire all the time. This gives me a firmer ride, better fuel economy, better steering response (although not always better traction), and better tire life.

For long distance travel its very common to air up the tires more than what the sticker says.

It should be molded into the sidewall of the tire. Its usually the smaller print closer to the wheel.

Mitsumi, I'm pretty sure it is required here in the states, not sure for you there.
