Hello all! I just took delivery of my brand new 2014 Mirage yesterday and I am so excited to get the most from my economic ride. The mirage brings back memories of the firefly I used to own and getting stellar fuel economy gets me rolling. My mirage replaces my 78 Honda civic as my daily driver

Did you get the 5-speed or CVT?

I actually still have a Firefly -- a 1998 1.0L, 5-speed. The Mirage is the first new car to come along since I've owned the Firefly that qualifies as a potential replacement.

I hope you'll make a garage entry for your car and consider posting your thoughts about the Mirage in our Owner Review section.

I love it so much! I got the CVT SE fully loaded with the "convenience package". I used to own a 1998 Pontiac firefly 5 speed as well and I knew this was the car for me! I will get some pics up when I can, thanks for the welcome to the forum.

Where did you buy it?

I was in Vancouver for a good chunk of last winter when we decided to start up this forum, but I don't remember there being a dealer in the city. I actually went looking for one in town.

From what I gathered the car has not been in Canada for very long. There are about 5-6 Mitsu dealers within an hour of my home. I bought mine from Tri cities Mitsubishi in Port Coqulitlam.

Wow it was just good timing then, until last week I had never heard of the Mirage, I have been looking at sub compacts for awhile and been very disappointed. This is the only subcompact I test drove and the only one I would ever buy.

I love to tinker and I try to keep my cars maintained at home so I should be able to contribute lots to the forum.
