    Mixing Dot 3 and Dot 4 brake fluid

    Mixed Dot 3 and Dot 4 break fluid
    It is OK?
    Should I pull out what I can and replace with ?

    My 2017 owner's manual states in the capacity chart -

    "As Required - Conforming to Brake fluid DOT3 or DOT4"

    I expect DOT4 to be in a Mirage, because DOT3 has been phasing out for decades ever since ABS became standard, and hardly any manufacturers make it any more, furthermore DOT4 can be used in former DOT3 systems. In these parts DOT3 is not available any more.


    NB: Never ever put DOT 5 in these cars!
