Carnauba wax or Paint Sealant (ex: Cilajet)

I love detailing my cars. I got my Audi Q5 and had Cilajet applied on it by the dealership and i want to make my Mirage shine just like my Q5 w/o paying $100+ just to make it shiny, But i do want the shine to last longer than a few weeks.. Has anyone done anything like a paint sealant vs Carnauba wax?

I would like to know more info about it. Google can only do so much

Oh ok, I wasn't given the option of getting it sealed when I got it so I'll be doing it myself. My Audi was sealed by cilajet from the dealer and yeah it shines hard. I Guess I'll get the sealer.

I'm a professional detailer on weekends, here's what I did to my new Mirage for the best protection and shine.

    Wash
Clayed using my new prep towel
One coat of Wolfgang Glossy Paint Sealant
Three coats of Collinte Insulator 845 Wax
Lastly gave it a good coat of Nube wax and a good mist of Duragloss 951.

I consider my Mirage bullet proof

Just make sure you add graphics, wraps, Dips before you apply all this because nothing will stick to the paint once protected.

How much time do you wait between wax coats?

According to MyNewMirage's profile he hasn't logged on the site since 11-28-2014 - more than two years ago. You might be able to ask this member directly by sending an email - look for the link at their profile page.

    And hopefully they chime in!

A good paint sealant should last 6 months if properly applied. Meaning the paint has been decontaminated and all old wax has been removed. A good carnuba wax will last MAYBE a month.

I recommend Klasse Sealant Glaze. It is the most reflective sealant I've tried.
