    Hello from Canberra Australia

    Hi all

I bought a white LS CVT Mirage for my wife two months ago. The car has the following accessory packs installed
    Platinum pack
    https://mitsubishi-motors.com.au/ima...Pack_A4_V2.pdf
    Cool pack
    http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com.au/..._FA2_Part2.pdf

Had a few issues with the car from new and am in the process of getting these fixed. Issues listed below:

Faulty gas boot / trunk struts for the rear hatch - replaced under warranty
Sloppy driver side sun visor - replaced under warranty
Dash rattle - fixed under warranty
Paint defect on front bumper - repaired under warranty
Push button start issue (starter motor does not engage fly wheel correctly - intermittent issue) - waiting for new fly wheel, starter motor to come in from overseas. Will be replaced under warranty
Rear hatch rattle - intermittent issue - still under investigation

Let me know if you have any questions or just want to say g'day

    Cheers,

    Tim

G'day Tim from an expat Aussie (from Victoria). Congrats on your new Mirage. Hope the issues get resolved and aren't a sign of things to come. Your car looks nice with the extra touches of chrome. I especially like the chrome strip above the glove box; it breaks up the monotonous dark, hard plastic and adds an upscale touch. Was that part of one of the optional packages?

    Welcome, Tim!

I have seen the chrome package before -- not on a white car -- and wasn't a big fan. But I think it works nicely on the white. Maybe it's a bit less blingy with less colour contrast.

It's unfortunate you've been affected by that flywheel/starter issue. Hopefully resolved soon (for everyone)!

Out of curiosity, what car did the Mirage replace?

    cheers
    Darin

    G'Day festiboi

The chrome dash trim was an option. It is part of the "Cool Pack" accessory bundle. It does break up the hard plastic. I am very happy with the result.
    Cheers,

    Tim

    G'Day Darin

The Mirage replaces my Wife's Proton Savvy. The ANCAP 5 star safety rating, 5 year warranty, 5 years roadside assistance and 4 years capped price service sealed the deal.

    Cheers,

    Tim
