524,000km/328,000mile 2015 Mirage amazing, engine teardown extravaganza

I wanted to see how long I could make the title for this thread. Because I like turtles.

Today I want to have an adult conversation about gardening and how ph levels in the water you feed your plants affect growth. Please, keep non-gardening posts to other threads or you'll have your fingers lopped off as per new forum rules.

I'll try to piece together a quick vijeo of the inards of what I consider a high mileage Mirage engine. I'll dig up a clip showing the noise this one was making. It was similar to what my first 2014 sounded like with 36k kms. It felt a bit down on power as well.

This car had 12k km oil changes done for the first 400,000km and used mainly on the highway doing 70mph putting on over 500km/day on average. Ran 0w20 it's entire life. Started with mobil 1, then klondike around the 250k km mark(in early 2017).
    Here's a sneak peek.

I saw a scuff. You must have used the wrong spark plugs.

    Off with your fingers!
    It's within spec.

If I continue to piss in the same spot in my yard, it kills the grass. Weeds don't even come back in that spot. Urine must have the wrong pH.

I was confused. I'm not sure I was supposed to share that here or not? If I got this all wrong, I apologize up front. Someone once told me, "reading is hard".

What should be our take away from a 328,000 mile Mirage engine? On a serious note, I would like to know.

Would a better oil or shorter OCI change the outcome? Thoughts?

It's an interesting thing to consider. However, my response would be that there is far too many variables to take any guess seriously.

I'm wondering if the piston scuffing is caused by flooding and washing out the cylinders? I took a video of this one before i pulled it didn't work out...I have a better phone(that cost more than my car) now so will record what the next one sounds like. I might replace one in a 2017 thats obnoxiously noisy just like this 2015 was. They both sound just like my old 2014 did, sounded almost like light lifter noise that'd go away under light throttle but was noisy under light load when driving or when ac kicked in.

I think the nut behind the wheel plays a major role. I know there are a few cars here that are bagged much harder than necessary, driving around in "sport" and flooring it everywhere 100% of the time may be a factor. Not so much in this car but in others with far less miles that I see treated like caca.

I've been using Miracle-Gro for the houseplants with excellent results. Have yet to test PH though.

What kind though - Labatts? That might affect PH too.

Keystone. I haven't been able to find the regular stuff in the red cans for about a year now, been stuck buying the blue light stuff. Desperate times...The dog likes it too. I blame the smell on him.
