    It use the same switch as 2012 Outlander 3. Same hardware. There are 3 types of switch, 8602A088 (regular cruise function), 8602A089 (cruise with limit control), 8602A090 (adaptive cruise switch). Mirage use the same as the regular cruise. All use the same pins connector.

    Any more info?

    Unfortunetly, i dont know the exact code. The LHD and RHD wiring are easily distinguish by the letter L or R on the last digit of part number,...

    OK, time for an update; I had previously installed the Mitsubishi cruise control switch to the steering wheel. Control backlighting worked, so I thought it would be easy. Finally got my VCI pass-thru cable from ebay that supports J2534 ( http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171843404...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT ), so I hooked it up to my ETACS Decoder software ( http://etacsdecoder.com/forum/index.php ). Make sure that you use the recommended driver, not the supplied driver. Successfully activated a number of functions, such as external temp display and real-time fuel consumption. Found the correct setting in the ED program and changed cruise control to "Present", and cruise control option coding to "Accept". this data was successfully written to the ETACS.

    And;

    Problem; I still have no cruise control. The controls light up (as they always did) but there is no function. Mine is a manual transmission, and it even has the second clutch switch fitted for the cruise control cut-out, however, I feel that there is also some other wiring missing. Has anyone had any luck getting hold of the wiring diagram? I am determined to get to the bottom of this, no matter how long it takes........

    Would getting a used US-spec clock spring solve this issue? My thinking being that (assuming the clock spring is where the break is in all other cars without cruise control) then this would be safer than trying to splice something into the original clock spring.

    I wonder if the part numbers on the clock springs are therefore different?

    You dont need to open the clock spring itself. All you need to do is reach on the bottom connector of clockspring and run a wire from there to the ecu,... 2 wire is all it needs. And yes, asian build dont support cruise control. Wire assignments are different and also the ecu itself are different.
