Exclamation URGENT! One of the airbox screws if not there could cause oil to spew out?

So I have a intake for the car put on recently and the screws that hold the factory airbox on, are taken out and put away, drove around and when I got home I smelled oil and once I opened my hood there was oil sprayed all over top of my motor. Is the screw on the far left (Passenger) side of the motor that holds the airbox on, supposed to be open all the way through? I can shine a light inside the oil cap and see the light through the button of the screw hole opening.

If you can shine light and see it, then put a bolt through it to plug it.

Im just more alarmed about this being a defect, could someone verify it in their own mirage? You can even shine a light down the screw hole and see all the way through.

OK...I'm a loser and have nothing better to do on a Friday night...

I just took that 10mm cap screw out of my car. That thing is 1 1/8" long! I didn't expect it to be that big. Anyway, it does look like I can see through the bottom of the hole into a baffle or something inside the cam (valve) cover. But if I remove my oil filler cap and shine a light in there, I do not see light at the bottom of that threaded cap screw hole.

I would think that if oil was spraying out of that hole somehow, you would see oil residue around the threaded hole? Regardless...if that hole does open up inside the cam cover, put the screw back in because you don't want that open anyway.
