if aligned correctly it wouldnt cause any geometry issues. You can lower a car and still retain stock values of alignment. You may need some kind of correction kit ie camber bolts or mounts but it can be done. With that being said my dealer said anything the Aftermarket part touched would be voided.
Weird... I lowered my car and had some servicing and the dealer didn't care that I lowered it, they said as long as the suspension components are not ruined by the lowering springs themselves, that it wont void the warranty.
Pretty much saying that, if the lowering springs damage or wear out a another component, then it'll void the warranty for thus part.
Now this is what I was told, some people get told different, I guess there is some Act out there about aftermarket parts and dealer warranty's. Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act I think.
