Ha.. No. This is my second Mirage as well so I know what it should sound like.

Just returned from dealership.
The buzz/rattle appears to be gone for the moment and the door squeak as well. Fingers crossed.
Door issue is the limit strap mount inside the door. I was told they lubed it. I'm assuming I'll have to do this once in a while.
The Buzz I'm told was the serpentine belt. Really?..
That's what I'm told. They adjusted it and all's well. We'll see.

The high note buzz/rattle may indeed have been caused by serpentine belt as it has not returned after belt was adjusted. The door rattle remains quiet.
Now I'm back where I started.. the low note reverberation/rattle is still there very noticeably under slight load @ 2000-2100rpm especiallywith cruise on.
I believe now that the low note "noise" may also be related to the serpentine belt so I'm looking to buy a higher quality aftermarket and changing it out to see.
As is now I can at least live with it.

I'm not reading through the pages on here, but this happens on my manual albeit different rpm range.
I'll check again, but IIRC 2100-3500ish rpm.
The engine makes a nasty vibrating sound.
Just like you mention, there's nothing under or over those rpms I listed.
Someone else on here (Alex I believe) also confirmed this.
There is a zone where load+rpm cause the engine to really growl and I consider this to be a normal characteristic of this engine.. My complaint is a low note reverberation/vibration I can hear and feel when the engine is in this zone that is caused by it but it's not the engine itself. The feeling resembles a far weaker version of the buffeting felt when windows are opened at speed.
It's irritating for sure but it's the only real issue I have with the car and I'm hoping it's something I can find and fix.
Thanks for everyone's input so far. It's been helpful.

That is interesting Mitsusport.
This is where the CVT aggressively holds rpm.
Maybe that's why it shudders grumbles so much at cruise.

Finally got audio recording good enough to hear the issue.
I dunno how to post audio here so here's a link to hear it on Google Drive.
