(Shoutout to Eggman)
I bought a set of 2013 Mini Cooper 15" wheels off Craigslist ($150!) with 175/65/r15 snow/mud tires included. No studs. I plan to use these as summer wheels and save my old 14" for winter.
The lady said she put maybe 8000 miles on them in 3 years. Outside of being super dirty there were very few flaws from normal wear and tear.
Exact wheel specs for anyone interested: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/mini/cooper/2013/
They fit my 2015 Mirage perfectly. l will post any mpg changes after some time passes.
I'm not sure what my original 14" steels weighed but from the Mini Wikia the Cooper tires should weigh 13.7lbs (6.2kg) each. No frame/fender rub at all. Speedometer is off by a few mph doing around 55-60 which is expected. Only thing left is to grab some center caps.
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!
