    About the OEM armrest, I can't find it in the U.S accessories website, do you need to ask the dealer for this?

    Mitsu us doesnt have it yet. It may come or it may not. Who knows how long it took people complaining in other countries to finally start making it as the cars been out 2-3 years in other markets

    Strange - in New Zealand the armrest was available at the cars launch last February

    Thanks RedDE55Spd! I would get one of these if I buy a Mitsubishi Mirage. Our '08 Lancer GTS has it standard equipment and I would miss it too much to not have it in my Mirage.

    I can say it's been a bit more comfortable since installing it. I need to either add more strips of the foam tape or remove it and wrap it around it top to bottom to maintain a tighter fit.

    Isn't it possible to use a nut and bolt to fix it to the car? Or is it just a matter that you don't want to drill an extra hole?

    How about getting a PVC tube just smaller than the original cup holder and bigger then the armrest cupholder insert, Im going to try it and try to post pics after I order mine.
