Yeah, I have way too much air in them. I gotta find a low pressure gauge, just sitting in the sun will probably raise the pressure noticeably higher.

There’s no hole in the top of the spring seat, I probably coulda drilled a hole and ran the hose throughout the car but I’m not doing that. I don’t see any other way to route the hose from the top without fabing a custom spacer?
Edit:maybe there is a hole in the top but mine is plugged with dirt and rust?

Dropped pressure to 5psi this morning. Between that and removing the red spacer, it rides near stock now. A little stiffer, stays a little flatter around corners. Seems good so far, just rides a little rougher on crappy, bumpy roads or railway crossings.

I think I'm gonna swap my old worn 175 snow tires back on. The one has a leaking plug that's close to the sidewall, I'll just patch it and call it good.
My fuel economy kinda sucks. I've been parking outside, which doesn't help but I think the near new winter lugs are the biggest mpg killer. I should really change the airfilter cause I don't think I have since I changed the engine and it got soggy since then... Still gotta change front wheel bearings one day too. It's hard to tell if a bearing is noisy, if the tires are just noisy or both.

I notice squeaking from the rear ever since installing the airbags. Me thinks it's the bags rubbing on the springs.

I probably should have looked into these bags a little further before doing this. I’m not sure if I’ll use that red spacer deal in there like that. It goes on the top as per instructions but the kit is made for a focus I believe. I’ll try it out in an hour on a few long sweeping on ramps where you can get up to 60mph. So far I just went around the block and I think it feels less wallowy already. At least in the rear. Front is soft, rear is stiff. I put 30-40psi in the bags.
What is the goal here for these?

Goal is to fix it until it's broken!

And if I ever load the car down again, it won't be bouncing off the bump stops.

Mitsubishi stiffened the spring rates for 2017+. Earlier years had soft suspensions and owners were seeking ways to change it. There are a lot of posts on this back in the day, but not so much anymore.

I had not realized you put a plow on the front of your mighty Mirage. But since it snows there 10 months out of the year, it makes sense.
