    They're nearly identical:

Which is fantastic, considering the Mirage has ~35% more power, is roomier, safer & more comfortable.

Some conflicting launch date information, FYI:

Dealers will begin receiving a wave of fresh products ... a new Mirage next spring, along with a Mirage sedan ... in the second quarter of 2016.

So, they are not going to inroduce all the banch of refreshed models at the same period (fall 2015). However, It's better to bring the Mirage Sedan as soon, as it possible.

Is it possible we may see another Dodge Colt in the USA alongside the Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback/sedan?

This seems like a good contract for Mitsubishi and its Mirage "third-world" platform.

I would rather have them replace the chrome trim to DRL light strip

second reference I've seen to steering/suspension improvements in the sedan

It's just a pity Mitsubishi hasn't upgraded the steering and the suspension on the Mirage hatch, to bring it up to the same standard as the sedan.
