I got it for logging data. Should be fun.
Any requests on what to track? What are the favorite apps?

Can you do a little write up on that thing once your a little more framiliar? How far did you travel on the yearly totaled 180 gallons?
Sure! I look forward to using this to learn more about my car.
I added up my entries from my forum fuel log. The odometer read 9236 at my last fill-up - so that minus the 60 miles on the car upon purchase.
I don't think this accounts for the dealer fill-up.

Using the OBDLink software with the bluetooth adapter, I've been watching my instant fuel economy as well as a few other displays. I have to be careful to not get too distracted by it. I have used it to soften my acceleration and see right away improvement in fuel usage.
I've also noticed my fuel consumption does better coasting in neutral instead of in gear using deceleration fuel cut-off, as I learned here on the forum. I figured I would get better numbers coasting in gear. Any ideas as to why? Has anyone else noticed this?

A true dfco scenario you receive infinite mpg!
Is there any info on (fuel cut) specific to the mirage? (Beyond General knowledge and speculation)
9990 miles. I haven't even hit 10,000 miles yet. The dealer changed out the factory fill at 5043 miles.
I was surprised at how dirty the old oil looked. I should have taken a picture of it. It didn't look that dirty on the dipstick when I would check it. Go figure.
Used Mobil1 EP (Extended Protection) 0W-20 oil and filter and installed the new Fumoto F106SX valve. I got the oil from WalMart and the Fumoto valve & accessories online through Fumoto.
Fumoto F106SX: New Generation Valve with 14mm-1.5 Threads
Hose Kit for S and SX-type Valves with 3/8" Short Nipples
For proper drainage, the Fumoto valve has to be angled down and thus will protrude below the oil pan. Judging by this last picture, it doesn't appear to be lower than the crossmember, so that's good.
The amount of rust forming on the crossmember is disappointing. It's been a tough year for road salt here. The body looks fine so far.

After studying the instructions found in the post by ahausheer titled How to reset maintenance reminder and/or change service interval I was able to successfully do both. I've noted my findings and will document them below. I'm still not sure what exactly they mean. Hopefully someone else can comment on and fill in the details.
I explored this feature with 10,007 U.S. miles on my odometer. I found that when I initially chose a setting, it gave one reading for months - not all settings read mileage. All settings gave a different reading after I cleared the Maintenance Reminder. I don't understand this completely, but I think it is described in the service manual and I included a comment on it in the notes section below.
Instructions for canceling the service reminder warning (Clear) and setting the schedule can be found in the service manual at page 54A-60. The various schedules are not described.

Notes:
- I selected nAS_20 for six-month reminders. I'll revisit this with usage to see how the reminder behaves, but want to avoid changing the schedule and performing another Clear to reset the counter. For my use, I'm sure the Normal schedule would work just fine.
- Page 54A-55 of the service manual describes using a MUT-III scan tool to change the reminder settings, and discuss a Periodic Reminder schedule and a Extra Reminder. I initially thought this describes what happens when I performed a Clear after selecting a schedule - although I think what I did was Clear the next reminder, as described below.
- This was the schedule set from the factory for my Mirage.
- Same as Normal?
- Same as Severe?
- The service manual has this Caution about canceling the Service Reminder Warning using the 'Meter Information Switch':
- Be careful not to execute the service reminder warning cancellation by operating the switch again after erasing the service reminder warning indicator which is currently output, because the next warning period will be cancelled.
- If the next warning period is cancelled by mistake, the cancelled warning period can be restored by setting a schedule different from the current one once, and then returning it to the previous schedule.

Not much going on, really.
I updated my fuel log. Kinda late too. I last filled up on May 24 and am maybe halfway through this fill-up. I've dusted off my bicycle and have been commuting by bike. Lovely weather too. Glad I'm back to riding again as I'm able. Schedules will change over the summer and I won't always be able to ride, so I want to take advantage of it while I can. I get great fuel economy that way.
It's funny getting behind the wheel and driving Speck when I have to. I've been riding to work, my daughter's swim practice, and the occasional recreational ride and I really haven't driven much. This tank ought to last a while.
Cheers!
