Could you also get some video? Even if it's just a simple walkaround. Not to make too many demands on you.
The only video camera I have is a GoPro unit but that should work. No lighting or viewfinder though. I'll put it in my pocket before I leave. It looks like the press has already covered the exterior and interior of the car. What I am interested in are pics the press doesn't take, like undercarriage, under hood, etc.

I enjoyed the show very much and took a few video clips with my new GoPro Hero 3 camera. This was my first time using it and uploading to youtube with it. As I approached the Mitsubishi stand, the young lady had just started her presentation so I missed the beginning of it, but here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2wtt00Xy6k

Because the car has not yet been released in the US, it was locked and we could not sit in it. I can't wait until we can buy them here. I have never owned a new car before, but my '97 Metro will not last forever and this is the only car that can replace it, without taking an mpg penalty.

I am currently uploading another that shows the undercarriage.

    Mike

Thanks, Mike! I embedded your video. I assume they were doing this short presentation on a regular basis.

Odd that they wouldn't let people look inside.

And here's a cars.com review of the Mirage from the NY show:

You're welcome Darin. Yes they probably were but there was a lot to see and my friend and I did not go back to the stand regularly during the day. In hindsight I should have asked her when the next presentation would take place.

Here is the other clip which gets closer up and shows what little could be seen of the undercarriage.

I thought so too, but other car's by other manufacturers [Ford Fiesta ST comes to mind] were doing the same thing. If it wasn't yet released for sale, the doors were locked.

I love how you're already investigating how to modify the suspension! Common gripe about the car, so might as well investigate
