Biggest mileage on 1 oil change

Hey, I just came to a situation where I have to do my oil change. My wrench is on and it's been 6 month already and I drove 12000 kms. Just waiting for service in Edmonton and it will be another 2 weeks and I will put another 500 km during these weeks + 600 km to Edmonton. Has anyone went over 12000 km on 1 oilchange? I use Mobil 1 oil filter and motomaster oil.

You are fine, as 12,000km is 7,500 miles. That is the standard oil change interval here in the States. A few hundred km over isn't going to hurt anything.

Especially with a quality motor oil. Some oils claim change intervals twice as long.

I believe the OCI Mitsubishi specifies for the Mirage in Europe is much longer as well. We are told 7,500 miles here in the States because we get the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.

Well, my mechanic is on his vacation and the closest service is 200 km away. So I'm waiting for my Edmonton trip. I checked my oil - it's like water, super thin, and oil is black. It comes to 13500 km when I will have my oil change, and 7 months .... Hope nothing will happen to the warranty. Thanks

Here in Europe very good oils are standard. I regularly put 20000km on the engine between oil changes, and that oil has the colour of honey just before it is changed.

I think you will be fine. My 96 Metro goes 10,000 miles between changes on full synthetic.
