I described it in a review of the Mirage I did for Carsurvey.org as "a rough, felt-like substance".

When a gust of wind knocks you out of your lane. Cause a $10 bar Mitsubishi thought it didn't need.

Have you ever seen a car racing around a track with it's inside rear tire up in the air? I wonder if that is what Mitsubishi is trying to avoid by not having a rear sway bar.

I am not on a race track. I've noticed above 55 the ass end is so sloppy I just get off the hwy.
While the car is made for the global market, you gotta make sure certain things are correct. In the US/ Canada market that would mean a sway bar for higher speeds. My car pisses me off at higher speeds. To the point I may go upside down to get a yaris, Mazda 2, fit, or spark to compensate for the higher speeds

I have not raced my Mirage and I've never had this problem with handling above 55 mph. I'm having a hard time understanding how your Mirage reacts that way.

Ditto... I regularly drive 75 plus on the interstate and she's as sure footed as anything else I've owned. I don't get your issue at all.

The hwy feel is exactly why I swapped to the VW beetle springs. 50$ is all it took to give this car the confidence you need for driving at speed. I know the feeling you described and it goes away completely with 15 minutes and new springs.
