Cvt cooler leaking SOLVED: bad hose clamp

I've got a car on the hoist right now with a leaking cvt cooler. It's leaking coolant. This is the first time I've seen that on one of these. The car is a 15' with 150000kms/93000miles. Warranty will be likely up in a few months so I'll see if this'll be covered. I'll try to post a few blurry pics.

    Solved! See post #9 below:

Nice catch! Thankfully it wasn't run down and overheated.

Have you had to add coolant yet to make up for the leak? One of the things that scares me about these cars is the tiny capacity of the cooling system. Lose a quart of coolant in a 5-speed car and that's 25% of the car's capacity.

That's gnarly looking. Did that rot from the outside?
    Will weld for beer.

This one is from across town, I only see it about once a month for an oil change. Apparently the driver was adding coolant and didn't bother telling anyone. All our drivers check the fluids everyday so thankfully they didn't run it dry and overheat it. After looking a little closer it could be coming from the upper coolant hose where it goes into the cooler. I don't have a the right adapter for my pressure tester. I'll see what the dealer says and if they'll cover it.

    Yeah, typical dealer stuff.

Glad to hear it was a very minor issue though!

Are these crimped clamps, or spring clamps?

    It's just a spring clamp.

And what type of coolant was used to replenish what was lost?
