I had changed my pads myself and it was really easy. I put motomaster oe plus pads from canadian tire. Right now even with a very light step on the pedal it would brake. I never had driven a car with a brake so light. I do not know if its good or bad though. Of course step it hard it would brake hard too. The pads are ceramic.

I don't care if its anti-seize or other lubrication, you should NOT be lubricating your freaking wheel studs. Hope you don't have your wheel fall off like I've seen many times in the industry. Shame. Customers would come in with that **** on their studs and ***** when I clean it off, and every time I told them if they want it on, they can apply it when they get home, as a professional we cannot condone such an action as it would be our fault if the torque is wrong. Also, over torquing by even 10-15 ft-lbs could easily cause stud failure, and lubricating your studs will cause at least 20-50 ft-lbs over torquing even when using a torque wrench when studs are lubed with any kind of lubricant, even anti-seize.........

does the attrage or G4 break pads fits the hatchback front breaks? Is it the same? because someone was selling slightly used OEM G4 break pads and i will get it really cheap because the seller bought an aftermarket break pads.

mitsumi I think it depends on the year. Most folks here look at online catalogs (such as mitsubishipartswarehouse.com) to verify fitment.

Mitsubishi claimed it changed the pad material for 2017 (when we got the G4). If I had to guess, I would say the pad is the same shape and should fit. But, I am not 100% sure on this.

    I don't know about a g4 but the pads from a 17' hatch will fit on a 15'hatch.

So the 17's have larger calipers but the pad dimensions are unchanged?

Thats not that uncommon. I've seen it on other cars. Pushing the pad out to a larger diameter gives it more leverage.

The Toyota Tercel & Paseo did the same thing. The Tercel had 13" wheels with smaller rotors where the Paseo had 14" wheels and larger rotors. The only other difference between them was the brake caliper brackets. So, if you wanted to upgrade your brakes, you just got new caliper brackets and rotors and you were set.

Rotor size increased for '17. Not sure about calipers.

Woo, I just checked and I am wrong. They did change calipers. Not sure why though as they accept the same pads.

Our history page shows the part number did change in 2017 for the calipers.
