The Mirage's CVT has a few innovative features: it's the first CVT with an auxiliary 2-speed gearbox, which gives it the widest gear ratio of any transmission. This improves both low RPM performance and highway fuel efficiency.

Poll: 1.0L Mirage engine = 7.5% better fuel economy. Would you choose it?

Would you choose the 1.0L if it were an option? It's about 7.5% more efficient, with about 9% less power than the 1.2L.
