This was the final jaunt of the return trip, and I hauled ass. On a nice down hill I hit a new GPS verified top-speed, in 5th: 107MPH. It was directly from the interstate fuel stop (noted in prior log entry) to a gas station at 'home.' For about 30 miles -was in a "group" with a Chrysler 200 (new tags from dealer) and a previous generation Subaru Impreza. Driven by a black male and white female, respectively, both in their 20s, and unknown to me. I note that just as an observation of the variety in 'high speed' drivers. We were NOT racing (seriously; like the Mirage could race at that rate), but we were 'moving along' 'together.' | ||
