Many cars have these drain plugs. It's got to be a manufacturing element. Maybe it's used when the body is being prepped for paint they run it through a solvent dip to remove grease?

I found the issue @mitsumi enters odometer reading on the fuel log instead of distance travelled. He's getting over 3000 mpg that way.
I like this idea. Get some DeMuro cargo shorts and practice his mannerisms. Members here could help write the script.

No one has mentioned that the batteries in the TPMS sensors will eventually die, which will activate the "winter tire" alert. I've read that 7 years is the typical life of the batteries.

True. Worst you can do with the Mirage is losing the full value which is just the first year depreciation on a new F150.

I think the temperature variation is less important than the max temp observed from any vent.
Do the test on a cold day because otherwise you won't be able to demonstrate that there is a problem.

data is so beautiful! I would expect the coolant temp to diminish slightly and the oil temp to increase slightly with that rig. Both fluids travelling so fast and so little interface that heat...
