Inside the headlight there is a metal shroud that covers over the factory bulb. It is so the light doesnt blind the driver coming the opposite way and so the headlight uses the reflector to disperse...

This is the light pattern before I adjusted . You need to pull ou the shield first before installation. I got similar ones on amazon
