Hello Timinator & The itch - welcome to the forum.
I came across your entry in the forum's Fuel Economy Log. Even though you don't take it easy on The itch it still outperforms the EPA rating. Consider increasing the air pressure in your tires and see what a difference it makes in your fuel economy. I usually keep mine between 45 - 50 psi.
Alright, I'll give that a go, how does that effect the balance of the car? I know my old cars when I up'd the psi it would become more tippy feeling
Try easing into it. I'm pretty sure the Enasaves have a max rating of 44 psi. Drive some at 40 and go from there. I like upper 40s as I find it improves my squishy 2015 suspension as well as fuel economy.
If you're worried about damaging your tires, this isn't for you. If you don't like how it rides you can always return it for a full refund. :)
Haha I dislike how the car gets tossed around like a rag doll around 55-60mph in traffic, I just don't want to make it worse. I plan on doing the Konig Helium and 195/50-15 tires when the factiry tires are toast
If that's your plan, you might want to think about making the switch now. Your factory tires will never have more value and the sale will help fund your new shoes. Top_Fuel did it and made the new set of tires really affordable.
I dont have the money or means to do it right now, I also plan to hold onto the factory wheels, never know what's going to happen and I may need them lol
I'm also in no hurry to do anything, I shouldn't have bought this car, I'd be much better if with it the payment lol

I sold my original wheels/tires before my car had 1,000 miles on it. I got $250 for the tires and $200 for my OEM aluminum wheels. Then I bought my new wheels/tires for $750 (and I didn't even take advantage of all the Discount Tire rebates at the time). My net cost for a 15" wheel/tire upgrade was only $300.
I'm close to 50K miles on my tires and they aren't anywhere close to being worn out. Very few people have managed to squeeze 50K miles out of a set of Enasaves. This upgrade is going to pay for itself because I don't think I'm going to need new tires until my car has close to 100K miles.
But it's hard to tell someone the first thing they should do with their new car is get rid of perfectly good wheels/tires.
