Took Speck to Sunnyside Mitsubishi for an evap code. This is the third time the Service Engine Soon light lit up for this code. The service department will order a new fuel pump & gasket which should be available for installation sometime next week.
I should find that code - I know I have it saved somewhere.
Found my records on my OBDLink app:
2020-SEP-09: P0442 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (small leak)
This was first simply cleared by my dealer but it came back. There were several such entries that I saved. The second trip they cleaned the fuel filler neck. It stayed clear for a couple months, but...
2021-FEB-14: P0456 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (very small leak)
At least it went from a small leak to a very small leak.
There's more data on the app. I can post the details if anyone is interested.
Tuesday marked five years with Speck. So far so good. It’s doing exactly what I need out of a car and there’s great support from Sunnyside Mitsubishi. Some great features too.
Here’s to many more. :)
Congrats. Here's to the next 5!
I’ve been making maple syrup this week. Two small batches turned out pretty darn good.
Hey - me too!
I was slightly disappointed in my first batch (less than 1 L of syrup) - less flavourful than other years.
My first batch this year yielded maybe 6 ounces, but it turned out great. It had a buttery flavor to it. I gave it to my neighbors who own the tree.
This warm weather stopped sap flow. Now I gotta go check the sap bucket. :)
Buttery! Neat.
I like how syrup can taste different from small batch maker to maker. My 3 trees give a slightly nutty flavour. My brother's trees make the classic flavour.
Your Speck looks great.
