The prototype clamps are all made up! We are just trying to find a day when it isn't raining or snowing so that we can test them out.

Right. What I mean is, I think the clamp should cover more of the torsion beam, rather than the approximately 3" as in it's current size. :)
How about various 'lengths'?
I tested various lengths with the computer software and these are optimized to reduce stress on the beam's welds while providing the most additional stiffness. If one set of clamps is not enough, a second set can be added. If that still isn't enough a 3rd set can be added. As you add clamps, you maintain equal distance between them. This gives you the most strength and least added stress. One big clamp will raise stresses a LOT higher than 3 smaller clamps, and 3 smaller clamps will probably provide more stiffness than one big clamp.

The most important question: how do they ride? How much stiffness do they add?
This is very exciting. Aside from getting a new set of wheels for a wider traction pattern, this was high on my to do list.
