I have 93k on my '15 ES manual, which I bought new. Clutch is feeling a bit 'spongy', which is to be expected given what I use this car for. But I expect to get 100k out of it. Other than that, no worries.
Best thing I did for the car was swap out the factory fill trans oil for Redline MTL at 60k.
dang! I thought I drove a lot. My 15' is at 38,xxx miles right now. I'm really considering doing the trans flush once I do the brake pads/rotors. I can feel a slight vibration while braking.
I'm around 80k with my 2014. No complaints at all.
I'm at ~108k on my '14 5MT ES I bought new. Just did the first brake change. Clutch still feels the same as it did from day one. Other than the garbage suspension with STILL NO OPTIONS FOR SHOCKS AND STRUTS :grrrr: I am completely satisfied with this great little car.
Brake change at only 38k? That seems very early to me. I am pretty sure mine will last over 100k because I am still hypermiling everyday
(ie Drive like you have no brakes) I usually downshift to 4th or 3rd if I see the light turning red up ahead and just coast
Well, not counting clutch wear, a manual transmission should outlast the rest of the car. (If it's not abused.) I don't think we've had any reports of synchro or bearing problems.
We've seen one unusual clutch disc failure that I know of: Clutch Failure on 2015 DE 5-Spd (Update: damaged clutch disc))
And a couple of people have had broken clutch cables: Clutch has no pressure (Update: cable broke)
