Bigger tires anyone? (also: speedometer/odo correction?)

Has anyone switched to tires with a larger outside diameter? With that being said, is it possible to update the tire size information in the TCM so as not to throw off the speedometer/odometer readings? I asked the dealer technician about it but he looked at me like I was daft, if I had an EVO he probably would have been more enthusiastic about it.

I got 185/60/16. best choice in my option but need to change the wheel

when i replace mine i will be putting on 175/65r14s i have alloys not sure if that means they are bigger but id rather pay almost nothing for a tire instead of 124 for the one tire i already had to replace
