Does anyone know if I can:
Disconnect the battery without any issues?
Remove the passenger seat without any issues (including those airbag wires) Temporarily to mount the amp and perform wiring.
Any thoughts on running the power wire?

Disconnecting the battery should never pose any problem. the rest of the questions I have no idea ;-)
They disconnected my battery when they installed the alarm system

If you need to reconnect power while airbag seat sensor is unplugged you will get warning lights... not an issue.
When you are all done just disconnect battery again, plug all sensors back in then reconnect battery.
The computer will rediscover all connections and reset.
All will be right with the Universe.... with a little more base : )
The light is still on after reconnecting everything while the battery was disconnected. I have a scan tool but its not a code I am able to reset. A problem for the dealer when I make a trip there for my first oil change in a few months :) I figured I would update the thread in case anyone else attempts the same.Quote:

Look at my underseat subwoofer thread and you will see how I ran my power wire. It's not easy, but do it the right way. DO NOT cheap out and run the wire through the door jam as that is a fire hazard. Make sure you fuse the power wire close to the battery too.
