Motor mount.

If you are referring specifically to the rubber puck, that is what's referred to as a mass damper and it's function is to dampen vibrations.

I've only seen that round damper on 2014's. None of our 15,17 or 19's have it.

After 2014 they revised the motor mounts for whatever reason. Perhaps it was a cost cutting venture, or perhaps the new mounts reduce NVH. We'll probably never know.
