Excellent instructions. I did this and I've always been afraid of touching springs. This was super easy. The reason I did it was because I have an excellent set of 15" Blizzak winter tires that rubbed just a bit in the rear. The VW Beetle springs raised the height in the rear and stiffened it up just enough that most of the contact over bumps is gone. And subjectively, it seems to have gotten rid of a bit of the roll. I went through last winter with these Blizzaks and car did fantastically in snow and ice. Better, I'd say, than all wheel drive with all season tires.
